I'm a list-making fool, especially when there's a theme involved!
Fall is my favorite season, and isn't that most people's choice? Cozy, crisp, and back-to-school routines, a lovely shift away from the over-the-top fun of summer. Let's get right into it - here's my list of must-do joys for this September:
There's really no need to create a bucket list for every month, every season, or life in general, but for me, it helps me feel like I'm living more fully. I have a sense that life is passing very quickly. It feels like I was starting high school just yesterday, and now my daughter is choosing her outfit for her first day of freshman year. It all just whirls by in a flash and a blur.
To soothe the bitter side of this bitter-sweet reality, I keep lists, journals, and oodles of photos. So although it adds to my plate and isn't necessary, I appreciate having lists of things to look forward to in everyday life. There are plenty of big moments to mark the passing of time, but these everyday joys might be just as important, or maybe more so.
